Winnie 6th Annual Tech Day April 1st, Gate opens at 8:30 am and closing at 6:30 pm. If you need parts contact Mike at Simple Engineering.com. Don’t know what you need, email [email protected]. The 2 day plan: Friday March 31st - Is for traveling and for dinner 6:00 pm @ Tia Juanita's next to Hampton Inn Winnie, Texas.. Saturday April 1st - Tech-Day 9:00 am start until 6:00 pm. Lunch provided will be Boiled Crawfish and BBQ. Location of Tech Day is 1657 FM 1406 Winnie, Texas, - contact phone number is 281-235-7968. Host Hotel for travelers - Hampton Inn - Winnie, Tx 409-296-3525, Hotel location address is 318 Spur 5 Winnie, Tx 77665. Please let us know if you plan on attending and your meal preference crawfish or BBQ as your main coarse. Also please inform us of what you plan to have done to your SSR. There will also be a craft session for the ladies

A couple of Tech Day rules/expectation listed below.
1.) you must work fulltime with expert while he is working on your R with you!!
2.) you must take your packaging material and removed parts with you when finished working on R.

I just did the window tint and used the soft side of this Velcro.

Worked great and very soft on my tint.

You are only 18 miles from Gulf and Crystal Beach which you can drive on along with some good restaurants

Be sure to bring both FOBs with you as they all get matched to the R in sequence at the same time. Having new batteries in them would also be a plus, as you‘ll know when they were both changed.

Brief update -
We are now less than 2 weeks away from the tech day. Food is being purchased and preparations are well underway. If you are thinking of coming, or know you are coming but have not signed up, please sign up today. Having a good headcount and the right balance of food is very important to those of us putting together the event.

There will be a tip jar to offset the cost of the food. Please plan accordingly.

Also important is having your parts and your help. There is a lot of work on the list and it won’t get done without your help. It does not mean you need to know how to do the job, but you have to be willing to jump in and hold this, grab that, etc. The work is roughly done on a first sign up, first come, and first served basis. Please check-in with Jeannie or myself when you arrive to make sure you are put on the day’s work list. Lester reiterated the gate will open at 9am and close at 6. In case you missed it, we worked until 1045pm last year.

We look forward to seeing everyone, and meeting new folks. Hope you can make it.

If the CFO finds out how much the rebuild/recore of the original OEM Harrison radiator for the C10 is gonna cost, I'll probably be grounded for at least a month or two..... that'll open a spot or two at Winnie
