I have a couple apps that I could use during autocross and track work. Is there a good, solid holder for my iphone5 that I could access while driving? I could use it for GPS directions too.

I have had good luck with ProClip.com for GPS mounts in my SSRs and Envoy. They have a 2 piece process where you order a base for the vehicle and a holder for the item to be held and the work together so you can move the holder from vehicle to vehicle.

I use the Pro Clip devices in my vehicles also My iPhone has a battery pack case so I use the universal holder which will unclip from the vehicle specific base and move from vehicle to vehicle

Scosche magic mount works great. Can suction cup mount or tape mount the base anywhere. Thin plate mounts on back of phone holds very tight. The SSR vents are too fragile to use a vent mount.

I use the Nexteck Magnetic mounts. Makes it easy to move from car to car. The mounts are available in several different attaching configurations, but the one that attaches directly to the dash with a thin double sided tape works best for me. Available on Amazon
