Saw this one on EBay previously - I don't think I'd attempt it.

There have been problems with some of the $400 devices, and the large companies will at least likely stand behind their product - at 8 bucks, I wouldn't expect much help from the supplier.

If I read it right, it supposedly makes power by fooling the computer into thinking it's running at a lower temperature - that would just inject more fuel, not change the timing, etc

I was a fool and bought one....installed as directed could see no increase of anything. After 1 hour of driving it the check engine light came on .

I removed and junked the doiode.........when my superchip programer arrived I read the faulr code before reprograming the engine.......fault code read overheat condition in converter. Removed fault code reprogramed engine to 92 octane ,high performance setting.................runs great, tire squeel in each shift point,
rev limiter is at 6200rpm and speed limiter off... No more fault codes...

SAVE YOUR $ IT IS JUNK YOUR BUYING. :willy:
