So the inside handle is the only one having issues?

The interior plastic was cracked at the pin and you repaired it with the stainless repair kit and you are still having issues with just the interior handle?

Installed the repair kit on the inside drivers side still won't work most of the time

any suggestions ?
Had this happen recently, SPRAY/LUBERCATE door module at door latch.

Latch release was stuck!! Used DW40, started working every time.

Latch/Spring get dirty.

Been there done that if the door is not shut all the way it will open from the inside

and i did put the repair kit on

It could be that rod needs to be adjusted (shortened). This can be done by slightly bending it.

Yes, this happens when handle is Pulled and Pulled and won't open.

The ROD that runs from inside door handle to Door Module "bend" which shortens the throw. Won't open.

Take door panel off, take plastic off door, find ROD and pull "Toward You" to straighten the ROD.

Now try it with door panel off.

#18 is ROD

Make it longer or shorter ?

Thanks for any help

have a great day
If you pull "toward you" it will make the throw longer which is what it needs to be.

OR spring is broken on Door Latch/Lock Module that opens latch. If it opens from outside, it is ROD.

Mileage? Doesn't mater, 12 YEARS OLD!!!
