Yahoo said yesterday that 2 million GM vehicles were being recalled. Is the SSR among them?

Is this more recalls than normal for a car company?

according to info listed in the newspaper fort worth star telegram the ssr is not part of the recall. mostly sierra and chevy pickups.

No, I work in the service Dept. of a Chevrolet dealer and the SSR's are not to be included in this recall that has been all over the news...only involves vehicles with 2nd row of seats...Silverado's, Seirra's, Avalanches etc...speaking from a dealer point of view, we do not even have all the details from GM yet...happens all the time when the news media gets this info even before the dealers...

i have owned new ford, dodge, and chevy since 1996 and all of them have had recalls at one time or another, sometimes several years after buying. :leaving

Thats for sure, all makes and models have issues. As soon as I get all the correct info on the recall I can post it here if anyone wants it...

Are you talking about on the SSR? I have seen no bullitins for clicking noises
from the SSR...are you talking about other GM trucks or the SSR...? :flag

Yes there are some other bulletins on similar clicking or tinking issues that pertain to other GM vehicles.

Those “similar” drivetrain sounds issues have different remedies and are not necessarily the exact same issue(s) that are on the SSR ... I don’t have any of that information at my finger tips.
