WOW! o_O Excellent work Scott! In fact that's a pretty good "To-do" list for anyone that's wondering what they might need to check, work on or otherwise think about doing to a recently purchased SSR. Not saying all or even any of those things will need repairs or replacements, but a deep-dive and some preventative maintenance if one were so inclined.

I can't believe how many of those things I've either done myself or at least checked on over the past couple of years.

Nicely done and as @Stlhotrod said, now the fun begins. (y)

Attached a printable copy for anyone that wants it...

It’s has the 3ss chrome package. Went from chrome gauge trim to pacific blue. Added tire pressure monitor system. Changed out the chrome center console where the shifter and buttons for windows are after getting blessed to find a brand new still in gm box chrome one. The original one had a few scratches. I’ve saved BOTH factory original ones as spares till a day come when we sell her.
Trying to decide when I’ll enter her in the ROTM competition.

@Trygodfirst That is an impressive list, was it mostly just what you wanted done so you were ready to go with out any worries, or was some of it needed maintenance and upkeep?

I know for my trucks they all had a needed list and a when I get around to it list. Some how my lists never get completed.

I owned a low mileage 2003 Redline Red. @Klondike owns that one now. I did most all this to that one as well. Wasn’t the mileage but the age of our trucks. I knew somewhat less about our 2006 Pac Blue and being 15 years old... well, Rally in Ohio coming and I’m 14.5 hours and 905 miles away . Hard truth I guess is I hate breaking down. I am / was a fire science engineer and owned a company responsible for keeping my clients fire alarm system inspected and maintained to NFPA Standards and this mentality has fallen over to my personal life in all aspects. AC in condo serviced every 6 months, filter changed every month and on and on. Hurricane windows. Back up generator. The list is long but distinguished as he said in TOP GUN.
I remember reading on this site prior to our first SSR @Dicktator saying it’s not if it’s when an ignition control switch or shift linkage will fail. That’s all I needed to read. As you see the list attached also takes into account heat and noise dampening and a focus on under ssr handling items that simple engineering sells. I even had dictator send me a fuse box repaired JUST IN CASE mine had and issue. Turned out it was fine.
Guess this sums up my answer. Still have new Bilsteins to go and with just under 50k miles I’ve got a little time for those and plug wires and coils
( although I carry a spare coil) I will be going to NGK plugs when Jeremy here in Florida does the CPU tune. Jury out on yes or no on new exhaust tips.
Thank you for your question. 👍

To each their own for sure as we all make our SSR’s our own. Here’s a couple pictures of a few upgrades. Doing all I can to prevent rocks being thrown up on paint. Mud flaps and running boards in place.

Since I was the fortunate buyer of Scott's '03 RED R, I can tell you personally he is not blowing smoke!! 👍 He does it right or doesn't do it at all...👍 And, I feel very lucky to own his former '03 (all his work and parts, plus the truck only has 27K miles on it - NICE)! And, if you think his R is done right, you need to meet Scott in-person because he is as FIRST CLASS as his Rs - couldn't be a nicer person! 👏 😎 🇺🇸
