2nd owner of this “Limited Edition “2003 Redline Red SSR
Original owner owned a Chevy dealership.
He had the custom pinstripes and designs applied. Garage kept. 18k miles
Bought this car May 25, 2019
Found this forum prior to purchase. To that end have valued its friendships from East Coast Mafia here in Florida and value the immense knowledge of many including Dicktator and Mike Moro and the wonderful part upgrades and replacements found thru Simple- Engineering
The SSR is currently having the following work done in preparation for Branson.
New hoses, belts (to include heater core hoses), plugs and wires. New fram air filter.Adding lower air dam. Upgrade to new fan with shroud. New batter cable. Upgrade to new steel lower radiator support. Changing to proper wheel alignment per Dicktatos library. Adding lower front suspension plate for better handling and to pull heat out from engine compartment. Changing rear suspension cross member to stronger one for better handling.
Bought rim and tire for spare. Changed out both the fuel cap and overflow radiator cap. Changed out thermostat and gasket. Flushing all radiator and heating areas. Add new dex coolant. Change fluids and filters in oil, tranny, and rear end. New 230 amp alternator and new battery. Adding heat shield between catalytic converter and abs module.
New fuel filter. Signed up for tuneup at Branson. New ignition switch with a spare as well. New fog and low and high beam lights and align same. New led light in cargo area with proper fuse installed. New hood lift system with pistons to make raising the hood easier. Same for cargo lift. Change out shifter linkage to avoid breakage and stranding.
Adjust driver and passenger windows in just a scootch so glass fits properly in rubber seal at top
Added xpel on from nose and fenders and 12 inches up hood. Added xpel on mirrors and a A frame post and front of rear fenders all in an effort to avoid chips from rocks.
Re-Velcro A frame post covers.
Adding red caliber covers. Adding red center mesh seat covers for protection of leather. Adding road noise reducer may as well as sponges suggested by Dicktator.
Adding colored SSR letters on front hood mat. Added SSR floor mats with bold RED border to help the color flow from outside in.
Trying to get her in better than new shape, Safe and secure for the 2019 rally where we drive 37 actual hours round trip. Aim is to keep her clean looking with minor touches kinda stock with small performance adds to come to assist the underpowered 300hp engine.
Thank you for your consideration as we ask for your vote.
Scott and Diane.

Looks like they have taken care of that. There are only 5 pictures of a beautiful truck. Now you need some competition. Good luck.
