Wow! Finally, a decent review by a motor mag (much better than Hemmings muscle mag anyway). The article went to great lengths to say how improved the 05 version is and even complimented Chevy for showing "unusual restraint by up pricing base models just $945" (from MY04). "...45 K may seem a lot to pay (but)...there may be good value here now..." Could it be that a major motor mag finally understands our "Corvette trucks?"

Not to gloat, but the article featured photos of a Slingshot yellow (REALLY--I like all of the colors!) I'll try to attach the article to this thread if I can figure out how (Help Marc!)

Speaking of my slingshot, just dropped it off at airbrushers today for flames

I was on mainland last week and really missed keeping up with the forum. In fact, I am still getting caught up with all of Jim G's Performance Pearls. Thanks again for doing the research and simplifying the confusion about many of the available performance mods.

Good One

Cosmic Airbrush is a good one. I know he is well known for his ocean and sun set work. He has a great ability to make light and shadow jump. I have not seen any of his flame work but expect you will have a top notch job from that shop. :thumbs

Read that article a couple days back. The bigger engine and strut bars was a nice upgrade~
