I put a twin flat sheet in black in there..This way I can pull it out whenever something gets put in the back so I don't scratch the wood. Fits perfect!

it has been posted here many times previously that the 'official' use of this space is for the cargo netting.

personally i find that for long drives it is the perfect place to hold a couple of sandwiches. :lol

We were actually supposed to have inserts for various items that could fit into that compartment. The best was a tool kit like BMW. I picked out the tools myself, but apparently it never happened. The owners manual fits nicely.

My manual fits perfect in there since the glove box is so small. The triangular reflectors fit in there too! Wow! I wonder what kinds of tools you guys had planned for that spot?

Also a great spot to put your back up Glock 17 along with 3 clips and of course if you get really lucky and in a rush don't forget that box of condoms, always comes in handy when you need them most. And don't forget about a half dozen road flares, don't leave home without them. Also for the adventurous ones, the wind screen can be made bullet proof for those who are in the bonnie and clyde life.

I have the Owners manual in there since the Glove Compartment is so small. I like the idea of putting my front licence plate in there, rather that its current location which is the passenger side floor!!!!!!
