Just got back from the dealer to look at a 2004. one word to say WOW... fun to drive.. everybody points and ask questions.. it is sitting in the garage right now.. love it but for me the running board have to go... don't like them. they seem to get in the way..

down in south florida the top will alway be down. thanks for all the great info on this site.

If you take them off watch out for rear fender rock chips

running boards

The first couple of days I kept bumping my shins on the running boards. The next 2 months I haven't had any shin incidents. If your only problem with the running boards was hitting your shins against them, I'd leave them on for a couple of weeks and see if you adjust to them.
