I just talked to my mech and he said K&N doesn't offer a intake for 05's on the open market but does if you want to go to their web site and be the first one to try it. any advise on this?

also would a throttle body be worth it?

what other kinds of things can I do to improve performance?
Should I be doing them now or wait for more break in time? (I have 1700 miles so far)
and in what order??

any advise would be great, KOOOL

I'm using K&N

filter in my '05, I bought mine from a member. It was the same size as the original GM one and works just fine. Also, I bought and had installed, a set of Dynatech SuperMaxx Competition headers. Those made an obvious difference! I have 3700 miles, so warranty is still in effect. About 2 weeks ago I had the car into a Chevy Dealer, on a lift, and they asked, "who put on your headers?". However, it didn't affect my warranty as far as they were concerned. Maybe some other dealer might see it differently, I don't know. If it did, it should affect ONLY the warranty on those new parts added, I am told. Joe
