K&N does not make a slip in air filter for the SSR. I bought a Green air filter for mine and love it.. factory slip in.

K & N Filter
The K & N No. 33-2118 drops right in and fits perfectly. There was some question in an earlier thread that just because it physically fits, it doesn't necessarily mean it is right for the application. However, mine has been in over a year now with no problems of any kind.

I can agree with you on that p/n 33-2118..Iv'e had mine in for about a year and a half.I think it was originally supposed to fit an 01 Vette.
I don't know why K&N hasn't updated their parts list yet.I contacted the over a year and a half ago to let them know about the fit.

yes they do and it is the 04' (K&N) chevy surburban filter, and it will fit perfectly.Boosted said:

Filter Home Work
Well I checked several Parts websites and did a cross reference on K&N. Two numbers keep coming up. 33-2118 & 33-2135. So I e-mailed K&N. at [email protected] Guess I will have to wait for a difinitive answer.

according to K&N they DO NOT HAVE ONE designed for our trucks... Per the manufactor..Now maybe one from another truck will work on it is a diffrent story..fiftiesnut said:
