Went to the dealer today to get the oil changed. While filling out the paperwork, the guy says..."Do you want your tires rotated too?" Had to keep a straight face while I said "No, not this time thanks." What a moron

He could've rotated them from side to side as the tires are non-directional, but that was funny however.

It is amazing how the Chevy service departments know so little about the SSR's. I understand it is because they see so few of them, which is kinda weird based on all the problems we are experiencing, but you would think they would've been properly trained on each vehicle model...I guess if that was true things such as this and jumping off the fuse block would not occur:(

rotating tires

They asked me the same thing last week. She said they could move them from side to side. I believe the manual for my Camaro said not tochange the direction a tire travels or vibration may occur. I don't know if that was true, because I never did it. Actually, I don't think I ever rotated those tires in the 6 years I had it. I never had a problem.
