But he posted it in the For Sale section with a link to another site. Which if you see the above #2 is against the very simple limited rules.
Just my guess, but most forums don't rely on their for sale sections for much other then to help their members help each other. This is kind of a double edged sword. Yes people here may not know it is available on Ebay, but should this site be used to promote Ebay and Ebay is then making money off of the sale and this sight is not getting anything from it including not directing traffic to the Fanatic site.

$810.00 now on ebay @pmattscheck you're doing alright. We've seen these things sell for almost $2,000.00! I see that it hasn't hit the reserve price. The buy it now price is $1200.00. Two guys really=really-really want it, and that's all it takes to have an auction! I'm @pmattscheck thinking you're going to get a good buck for your Pewter Display!

Don't be. It found a good home. A while back got hooked into the frenzy and thankfully maxed out around $1100 and it sold for around $1200. I got one for less later on. It can happen.
