What time does your flight come in? I'll even pick you up at the airport in a nice RED SSR.
Sounds wonderful... you tell where and when I will find a flight out of here ASAP!
I want to sit under a palm tree and watch the beautiful ....
and ride in a hot red SSR!

Well I gues I can post my problems up.

1. Rearend whine at about 50 mph with foot on the gas, remove it and quiet. Fix= New rear end being installed as we speak.
2. Roof rattle when roof is up and closed.
3. Drive shaft tink 1 or 2 times since I had it..They are putting a new driveshaft in also.
4. Cargo cover will not lift up. Dealer told me they had some new style shocks so they are putting them on also.
5. Chrome wheel centers will not stay in place. I can drive down the road and they have moved in the wheel and will not be lined up anymore.

It has been in the shop at the dealer since Monday being repaired and I have an 05 Silverado quad cab to drive in it's place...

That is it for now... But after all this my feelings are that I cannot wait to get my truck back... I do not mind the little things because I love it so much...

Can fire up the margaritas in a heartbeat.... Only 75 degrees today. Drove from Houston to Lafayette, LA (about four hours) with the top down and the Windsupressr doing it's thin.

No problemo.

The weather was perfect today. I just couldn't stand it any more, Played hooky this afternoon, went for a drive, stopped at Sonic for lunch. Made the problems go away for a while.

Other problems 1

Recently I looked under the hood of my SSR and didn't like what I saw....

the heat shield was rubbing the engine cover and someone tore the heat shield with the prop rod.

Don't let this happen to your SSR :lol

The only thing worse than this are the wrecked SSRs

(In case you can't tell....it's road salt all over!)

Hi, Looking

Had a similar problem with my hood shield touching the satin metal insert. Solved it by adding an extra clip at the rear center. The marks were fairly easy to rub off - no permanent scars. Can't help you with the tear - sounds like time for a fresh one.

My trunk doesn't open all the way like many other SSR's. It pops open half an inch and I have to lift up manually the rest of the way. Asside from that nothing else.
