Bad Asphalt.....they're talking about the compartment under the toneau cover at the back as you raise it up. Not good for anything heavy because if you shut the cover hard the compartment door will pop open and spill it's contents.

I keep my cargo net in there. Took my storage boxes out. Liked the look better without them in there.

We where told it was designed to hold a small tool set, but it did not follow through. I LIKE THE NET STORAGE IDEA not much weight to it.

You won't have it unless you have the higher level package. It's not on the base model
