I have been keenly watching the threads regarding the lowering of our SSR's.

What I need to know is what springs will allow me the max slam without swapping

out "A" arms etc.

I need to hear from SSR owners that have swapped out springs.

I would like to hear from people who have had negative experiences.

Air ride owners would know how far is to far.

What I am trying to do is get as low as possible without rubbing. and maintain

the daily driveability.

Here is my 2 cents worth. There are two problems, 1 is the stock geometry of the upper control arm, 2 is the crush tube that runs from the core support to the firewall.Both of these have to be adressed if you want it low. The rewards for adressing these are well worth the time and money. The back is pretty straight forward. Notch your frame for rear housing clearance, about 2" cut out anything else in the way and put air bags on it. If you are willing to do this you can have up to 4" in the front and 6" in the rear. My car is 3" in the front and 5" in the rear. In my opinion it rides better than stock and handles great.
