Somebody help us out here. We're trying ascertain whether or not the DiabloSport Predator Tuner is compatible with the 05 SSR. I called Diablo today and I was told that as long as it's not a LS2 that it WILL work.

Who knows which engine the 05 SSR 6.0 liter is? And, has anybody put a Predator Tune in one of these successfull to date that's available on the forum.

As far as I am aware the 05 has the LS2. I think that once you hook one up the(Predator) it reads the PCM, if it is not for that model year, it tells you it won't work.

And from looking at this page, they don't have for the 05 yet. http://www.diablosport.com/GMPredGas.php

So I wouldn't attempt it.

HD-Fatboy is correct. The 05 SSR engine IS an LS2, and is NOT compatible with the current Predator.

There will need to be a DIFFERENT Predator model number for the 05, NOT an upgraded model.
