Hey out there guys and girls.... I am contemplating having flames put on my Slingshot and am looking for idea's. I have seen LLoger's but am looking for any other idea's that might have been done already. If any of you have had ghost or traditional flames on a Slingshot I would really appreciate flicks. Incidentally, I am in Sacramento.......

Regards,

Rainwater

Flame colors

I would ask you , what are your favorite colors , beside's slingshot yellow. I've seen good flame jobs and bad flame jobs , but it was the style of the flames that I didn't care for, never the color. I love a multicolor fade flames , transending into each other, a nice blend

I like silver
blue
white
purple
magenta ... But all tastfully done. Just my opinion Chris

Check the flames on the NASCAR Pace Car - great looking paint work - you should find it doing a search for Nascar - several photos were on this site.

Stripping

Had a guy strip my truck yesterday, he's been doing it for 35 years. Turned the truck over to him and told him "Don't get too crazy". Two hours later, I had an old fashion stripping job, (real paint), with tear drops in several different locations. Wish I knew how to post digital pictures on the site. Its great. He spent the first 20 minutes looking at the truck, and kept saying, this is a great truck for painting. No chrome to interfer.
Talked to him about flames, said it was a great vehicle for that too. Just have to go with the right color combination.

It's "Striping"

Not to be too picky, you guys, but it's "striping" and "striper". When I read that you were having a guy "stripping" your truck, I envisioned someone taking all the wheels and parts off and leaving it up on blocks....not to mention references to your "stripper" -- is he taking all his clothes off while he's working? :lol

Hey thanks for the reply.... Too bad you can't post the flicks... Still looking for someone in Sacramento to do flames and, of course, some idea's.....
