Sorry to report that Mike Carr aka Mike in Orlando passed away today. He has been very ill for a long time.

He will truly be missed and was one of the founders of SSR Florida Chapter.

He started the FIRST Florida Annual Rally in Orlando, years ago.

Mike was 74, I do not know about services I will post them if I get them.

Rest in Peace my Friend!

I had many discussions with Mike mid 2016 when he spoke with me about selling his SSR's
At this time he was hoping to keep one of his SSR's to drive but believe he knew it was not going to happen.

He was a true SSRFanatic for sure - put gull wings on one :ssr- the other was a 6sp :black:

Sad news, I met Mike when he started the very first Orlando Rally and it was a pleasure to help him with others over the years. An enthusiastic owner who would sometimes call just so we could drive somewhere to enjoy being SSR Fanatics!

Linda and I are very sorry to hear the news. The SSR FAMILY lost a true friend and family member. He has not been around for a while but has been missed at every event. I can't count the number of times someone has mentioned that "Mike would have enjoyed this Rally!"
