Fans,
I called Jet performance last week and they stated by April they should have a programmer chip or unit to increase the 2005 390HP another 20HP .
What else can we do or have you guys already done???????$$$$$$$


I know someone has mentioned dual exhaust BUT I do not want the sound any
louder than what it is now. I really love the sound when I mash the peddle!!

Headers

:cool on my 05 today. soon as I figure why the scanner won't work. I will post them.
dyno run stock before headerswith the highflow cats (dynatech) this done on a mustang dynameter.

3-2-05
max hp 282.2 @ 4700 rpm
max torque 331.2 @3800 rpm
for some reason the afr jumped to 21.9 at about 5000 rpm
at 4731rpm it was about15.9. it came back down to 12afr atabout 5400 rpm.

after headers installed today same dyno 3-3-05

max hp 314.3 @5500 rpm
max torque 357.0 @ 3600 rpm
afr max 12.5 avg 11.7 (air fuel ratio)

thats 32.1 hp gain
25.8 #s torque with 200 less rpm.

this dyno takes in vehicle weight, wind, etc to realy get a real time useage as if you were driving down the road doing this. they say you can add 10 to 15% to get hp off the single drum type dyno.
1/4 mi time before

14.483 @ 98.920 mph reaction time 1.103 330 ft time 6.287 @ 60.274 mph

after headers

14.254 @ 101.460 mph reaction time 1.464 330 ft time 6.257 @ 62.139 mph

this on the dyno simulator 1/4mi sprint test.
I think they were worth it. doesn't sound much different until you floor it then it sounds much better. than stock. not loud. :thumbs :cheers
