The SSR returns for 2006 with no new changes. Chevrolet has designed the SSR as a combination sport roadster and pickup truck. This retro looking pickup truck features a retractable hardtop, a lockable pickup box, and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels. The SSR is equipped with a 5.3L Vortec V-8 engine :skep producing 300 horsepower. Standard luxury amenities include leather bucket seats, heated outside mirrors, a six-way power driver seat, and other power features. Mechanically, the SSR boasts standard four-wheel ABS, traction control, sport suspension, and a limited slip differential. The upgraded 1SB package includes a Bose sound system with six-disc CD changer, Homelink, heated seats, and an auto day/night mirror.

Sure is funny how they have the same report for both years.

The various vehicle pricing guides tend to make the same errors. Also, if you do statistical analysis on some of the pricing guides, you realize they are not actually accumulating real market data, but instead applying formulas of what THEY believe the vehicles SHOULD be priced at for wholsesale and retail.

Some of them specialize in producing TWO versions of their guides. One for retail customers, which shows HIGHER values, and one for dealer trade-in buyers to show customers, which show LOWER values. I'm not kidding.

This last type of pricing guide is usually an integral part of any type of "no bickering" pricing model used at some dealerships.
