Mural Challenge

More from Lakeland. Checkers restaurant did a great job. Shopping Center sign was in the movie Edward Scissorhands.

The sunshine was fabulous today but only 43 degrees but with a week of rain the roads are clean! Thunder and I cruised the Auglaize River roads this afternoon and found this mural at a bar called the "Landing Strip" on the banks of the river as you see in the mural. A beer still taste good on a cold day! 😉

In Wilmington, NC on Wellington Avenue, just off of Carolina Beach Road.

#1 close to the Mission San Jose in San Antonio. #2 in Waco

Janet and I were traveling through Raleigh, NC, this weekend from Madison Heights, VA, home to Leland, NC, and came across these murals in Downtown Raleigh. The first two are on S Dawson and Davie Streets near The Pit restaurant. The third one is on New Bern Avenue and S East Street.

Caught this one this morning in Franklin Ohio....

Saw this mural in Marshville, NC, east of Charlotte, on US 74 on the way to Maggie Valley.

On my way to the doctors for a code P0420 and an A-fib heart condition (different doctors, I hope) in Wilmington, NC, I passed these murals. Both are on S 3rd Street.

This one is at the intersection with Meares Street. (The R is featured only to cover whatever that red thing is behind it.)


This one is a coupla blocks further south at the intersection with Marstellar Street.


In the lower right corner is the following inscription:
