I went in the the service log to add an oil change and noticed that GM had finally populated the log with the service items from my dealer.

One item puzzles me. The log shows that the body control computer was reprogrammed last January. I don't remember that being done. I do remember going in because the b-piller roof seam started leaking at the windows.

I'm beginning to wonder if they only record the operations done and not the problems that prompted the work.

I am still having a problem with the GM link that says my VIN doens't exist even though I have gotten service and even a born on date from this site. I tried to call them but got a voice mail that said they would get back with me within 48 hours... that was a month ago.
Any ideas??

MyGMLink.com didn't like DOOPHUS'S VIN either.

Now I'm very curious . . . especially now that I know it isn't just me!

It looks like a lot of people had to email GM to have their VINs manually inputed. I will say that GM has known about this issue for 3 years now and hasn't fixed it yet (aaaaaaaaahhhhhh...hope I'm not turning silver :glol )

I was hoping that they would just fix it and they didn't so I have emailed them now.

Took 6 months to get my VIN registered. I had to email them several times. Dumba** dealer put in work done on my Blazer onto my SSR records and they will not correct it :banghead
