The bugs think the slingshot is a big yellow flower. I'm out trying to wash it and the bugs land and drown before I can get it clean. Stupid bugs. :mad

Bug Attracter

After hearing of this affliction of yellow vehicles before, I started to pay closer attention to the yellow cars at car shows. Sure enough, bugs are for some reason attracted to yellow. You will find more bugs landing on and flying around yellow cars than any other color. I do not know the official scientific explanation, but I'm guessing it does have something to do with flowers. There may also be some connection to the fact that the old "bug lights" were yellow. Perhaps one could blend RAID with Zaino?? Not wanting to slander anyone's choice of color, let me just say this is one more reason I will not ever own a yellow vehicle. :cool

Yeah, everytime I get done washing it, these little yellowish bugs just come to it like moths to a bright light, before I even start drying it off with the schami.

Hey ... if you have my cool silver you would never have to worry about bugs flying or landing on your SSRs... just take a look at this short MPEG video of a bug trying to land on my SSR I took last summer...

... so you can see what happens when the bug looks closer at my beautiful Silver paint job. It thinks its a mirror and it just checks out its' tongue... and then quickly leaves :glol
