Yes - I am anxious too... (Packages are labels and ready to go!)

I JUST rec'd an email from the production company. I guess I mis-understood the time involved to produce a high quality DVD. I think I had mentioned they'd need 2 or 3 days to put it together - ummmm, it will be more like 6-8 weeks. I am sorry for the info I shared. Since I made the blunder - if anybody wants to cancel - let me know - I'll eat the difference. (I thought 2 or 3 days was VERY quick for a high quality product.)

Here's what he said: "2 cameras was a discounted project package price of $2000, which you said to put on your mastercard. If this is wrong, please let me know. As to how long something like this takes to edit, with music, graphics and DVD with menu, the best example I could give is that of what a wedding usually takes, which ranges from 6 to 8 weeks, depending on how detailed the package and DVD menu. We have close to 6 hours of footage of your SSR Club event, which we need to edit down to 1 hour 45min to fit on one DVD, with the menu. Definitely not a couple of days work. I apologize for the misunderstanding and any inconveniences it may cause. Please be patient and know you are getting high quality work for a really discounted price. I have my music guy working on knock off songs and we are going through the footage to get all the best stuff."

Again, I AM sorry that I made it sound like we'd have the DVD this week - my error!

Worth the wait

Keith,

No worries on the wait....and I sure don't want to see you have to eat any of the cost, either for cancellations or if not enough people order. Please make sure you let us know if it is costing extra so we (well, I can speak for me) I can chip in.

I really appreciate you arranging this and sticking your neck out with the costs.

What everyone else said

No problem on the wait. It will be worth it. And definitely let me know if the cost is more than $40.00. I will be more than happy to chip in some extra.

Still taking orders - paypal - or PM me for my address to send a check. Should be a real nice final product. Check out Purcell Productions on the web for samples of their other work...
