Hello Everyone
I’ve always wanted a super sport roadster. Now that I’m older and retired I would love to get my hands on one of these. Especially with a 6 speed. Looks like I’ve found a great place with a wealth of information.
I’ll be looking for one. 😊

Hi Doophus
Well I perfect for me SSR would be 06 smokin asphalt, 3SS with chrome. Either trans is acceptable but preferably a 6 speed. The 2 tone black n silver works also and I’m getting partial to the slingshot yellow.
black is classy and the yellow is sporty

Sounds GREAT to me . . . especially the Slingshot Yellow !

Only a couple more months until The Doophus and I hit 18 YEARS (20 July 2005) together . . . The Slingshot Yellow is still my favorite.

@Bobminfla, you are in one of the States with the most SSR's and helpful folks. @soren703 will come along shortly. Have you looked at the "SSRs for Sale" thread on this site. Most already had updates done and pampered. Meantime---Welcome from Forney Texas. Consider clicking on the Colored Letter/Picture, top far right corner, go down to "Account Settings", then go the the left side and click on "Signature". Put the year of your SSR in your "Signature", AFTER YOU GET IT, and anything else you want to show in your posts, and we can help you better if you have a problem. When you finish click the "SAVE" box.

Welcome from Branford, CT. Try and get to an event so you can have a first hand view of how beautiful some of the colors are up close. I absolutely love the Aqua Blur & Pacific Blue's now. And @HUAW does have an awesome ride and boy does it love going fast in the twisties! With his help of course. 🤣

Here's a little forum navigation help... If you want to get someone's attention, start by typing @ followed by the site name. You'll get a drop down menu to pick from alphabetically. Once posted, that person will get an "alert". If you do it right, the site name font color will change like this ... @Bobminfla . Hope this helps.

I have looked at the for sale SSR on this site but don’t have privilege to post.
I also have been looking at cars .com daily. Sooner or later one will come by I like. I hope.

Ok ..type "@fi" and when you hit the "i" you'll see a drop down menu pop up below where you're typing. The fourth name on the list is Firetruck... That's me... Click my name and then when you post it will give me an alert on my end. Then I will know you used my site name and can go right to your post.

Welcome from Canada! Good luck in your quest for your new SSR! I agree you should know what you what to put the smile on. Chrome rims, running boards, carpet in cargo area, it's so much nicer to get what you want, be patience you'll fine the one you.
