Car show downtown is a No GO. You can start planning your itinerary. Still no rooms available at the Lodge for Sunday the 6th. If you have reservations and are going to cancel let me know. Send me a conversation if you are staying at another motel and want to come up to the Lodge. Does everyone think the will be there by 5:00 on Sunday the 6th. The time for the Meet & Greet is open at this time. Monday June the 7th need to be in Hill City by 2:00 the train leaves at 2:30. Tuesday June 8th plan on meeting at Mount Rushmore in the evening at 5 for dinner that way if we have bad weather we have Wednesday and Thursday to reschedule. The reason they don't want to have car shows downtown is because of the scheduling for their festivities. At 2-4&6 they have a shootout on main Street. At 7:15 they have the capture. On Wednesday they have a free concert downtown. Don't know who is there but we'll get that information. Car show, we can have it Wednesday evening up at the lodge or Thursday we can go downtown and use the visitor center they have parking for about 200 cars. Plus they also have trolley service to downtown if you wanted to see the shootout and the capture at 6:00 and 7:15. We would probably have to be there by 5:00. I am still trying to get hold of the tour bus for the Deadwood tours. Will provide more information as I get it. When you make your itinerary for sightseeing if you're going in large groups please let me know so I can post it so we don't have everyone at one place at the same time. Remember May 7th would like to have all commitments and fees paid. Stay tuned. Robert

Forgot Meet & Greet, train ride and tour pay me before May 7th. Thanks.
I’ll send you a check for the meet and greet. Is this the only fee you need directly? Looks like everything else is pay as you go. I think we’ll pass on the bus tour, but the 1880 train ride, dinner at Alpine Inn (where is this by the way), and dinner at Mt. Rushmore all sounds like fun. Are there any “Runs” being organized? We live near Holcomb, KS.
Thanks,
Steve and Debbie

Appreciate the offer, but Kearney will be a couple of hours out of our way. We‘ll be going through Goodland and then over to hwy 385 north. Will probably stop at Alliance, NE for the night. Safe travels and see you there.

As far as the "Runs" I'm not planning them. First of April I'll list the attractions and distance from the Lodge and make suggestions. Several people have been there before and may want to organize them.
