You didn't describe the details of your problem but I had a situation with my new '05 that after a few days there was no output from any of the speakers yet all the controls appeared to be working normally. After a few days, it magically fixed itself and I have had no problems since then. I may have had a related observation that as soon as the radio fixed itself the optional cluster voltmeter started reading off scale high. Not sure if it was related to the radio problem or not. After a couple of months waiting for some more serious problem to justify taking it into the dealer, I finally had it serviced in which they replaced the entire instrument cluster which seems to be the fix reported by other forum members.

I suspect the vehicle's 'network' wiring as the root cause. I am still waiting for the '05 service manual to be published but it is my observation that their are very few analog/direct instrumentation connections in this vehicle and that most of it is done using a data bus scheme.

wait

I just remembered I also had a high reading on my lower voltmeter, I ll wait this problem out to see what happens, probrably like a bus or printed circuit problem, could be from poor heat dissapating diodes.........
