After driving the SSR at the local dealership that had the aftermarket wheels and so much cowl shake, I decided to hold off on the SSR.

Then I stumbled into the new 2004 Ford Thunderbird Pacific Coast Roadster (PCR) while I was getting some work done on my van at the Toyota dealership next door.

Found the PCR to be quite striking in the color combo and showed it to my wife. She loved it and we are now owners of a new PCR. I guess my SSR will have to wait until next year or so. Dang!:banghead

I'd still love to drive/ride in an SSR that doesn't have the aftermarket wheels on it like the one I test drove to confirm/deny the amount of cowl shake in the SSR with the top down.

I can't complain too much since I have my 350Z and now my wife has her T-Bird again. She had a 65 T-Bird and has wanted another one every since.

Forever a SSR fan! :D

That TBird is nice!

I looked at them last year. Considered it, but backed out. I just love my little truckster. Happy motoring.
