Hey! This is Tim, and in celebration of getting my SSR patched up, I've been thinking about having an SSR meet up... I know a couple of you are quite eager for it.

I'm trying to fit it around my work schedule, so would it be preferred for the majority to hold it on a weekday or a weekend?

I can do any weekend day except Oct 20.
I think that the 14th might be too soon for those just getting home from the road trip down to Georgia.
November 3 or 4 also might still be somewhat not cold - I usually don't put my car into storage until Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm thinking Mackenzie River on Polaris
Saturday, October 27th at Noon.

It would be great to see any of you that could show, if you aren't able to make it, that's fine too.

Meet in Ohio

I am in Ohio. Not much happening as has been normal this past couple years. Car shows & cruise ins are going away. Set a day & see if weather co operates. Spent weekend with old friends at last GLMFAA muster. Found that many have died over this last year. Is it me? Seems like us Baby Boomers are dying off early? The Muster is for builders & collectors of Model Fire Apparatus. My current collection is well over 100 scale replicas. I can't post pictures due to some block on this page. I could bring some of my collection to meeting. Keep us informed of a date & time to meet.

I saw an 2004 "Beautiful Ohio" Ohio License Plate on a blue sedan the other day that read "LDY N RED" on Polaris, I immediately wondered if you were in town.

As of right now, it looks like Saturday, October 27th is the day we're getting together.
We'd love to see you there.

I put it on my phone calendar. If work doesn’t require me, I will be there. Oh yea, I’ll bring Donna too :smile2:

Mackenzie River (the restaurant) on Polaris Parkway, north Columbus, Ohio.
Almost the exact center of the state.
Saturday, October 27th at Noon.
