Hello ALL, this looks to be a great forum and I’m glad to have signed on.

Just bought a 2006 on BAT. I have not picked it up yet but hope to in a week or two. I’m a truck/car guy and have been for…let’s just say a long time.

I love to do the F,B,D, thing and I “think” I’ll be doing a couple thousand mile drive home after picking it up.

I’m sure I’ll have many questions down the road (or on the side of the road) and look forward to getting to know the SSR.

Welcome from San Antonio, TX! As a newer member to both SSR ownership and this site, I can confirm that there is a great deal of excellent information available...all you have to do is ask. Should you have questions regarding your truck, the more details that you can provide (year, transmission, pictures, etc.) the sooner (and more detailed) the responses you receive will be. Congrats on your purchase!

Welcome and don't be afraid to buy fly and drive an SSR. I have done it a couple of times. One from California to St Louis the other from AZ to St Louis. The trip was a fun adventure. Keep in mind the SSR is like a Trailblazer with a better body style to it. So the chassis and drivetrain are a proven platform.
