Santa Claus? Is that really YOU? :lol :lol
WOW that is shinny... if I didn't know that was Beer there I would have guessed it was John "Buffy" in that reflection... :lol

Ps. Hey John, I was thinking you could use a full moon in your Avatar with it reflecting off the water too. :cool

I love to see Buffy's Harvest moon reflections :glol ... but then perhaps Buffy's moon might look better reflecting off the exhaust tip or even better yet off the water ...

Nice polish job, Beer

Can you take a photo of the tip from the end - seems like people are very pleased with the sound of the Corsa system, but definitely want to stay with a rolled tip design.

Had a close look at a Magnaflow, but didn't like the pipe within a pipe look - couldn't keep the inside polished like I can with the factory system.

Is yours the sport or touring version?

I can't take credit for the polish. Send kudo's to Corsa.

I really like the way these are built. The inner flairs out and is one piece with the outer. Compleatly seamless. Stock has the outer rolled over the inner trumpet. I've always found it hard to clean down into the joint. The only knock I'd give these over the stock is that only the flare is polished. Inward of that it is brushed SST. If you see anything that looks like scratches in the polished bits, it's most likely a smeared fingerprint.

I bought the touring exhaust, and have an appointment to have it installed Tue.

Purple

You know that Magnaflow sells a wide variety of tips. (clickey)

I can't speak for their up close looks. Never seen them.

Dose Corsa sell tips. I'd bet on it. And give odds.

With either vendor, you will need to make sure to get a size that fits your pipes. Or have a flared adaptor made.

Thanks, Beer

I had seen that seamless look on a couple of rods, and thought it was from Corsa - that's exactly what I was looking for. Now we wait for your totally impartial assessment of how they sound compared to stock.

It would be really interesting to get a comparison of the touring and sport systems for sound level.

Me too...

Sorry but I won't know for myself till tomorrow maybe the day after.

I had a couple other items looked at as well. They wound up taking more time. So I won't get it back till late tommorrow maybe the next morning.

The exhaust is already on.

The other item, I hit a pothole a couple months ago. It did some damage but it took a while for me to pin it all down.

There was a wheel vibration that, on some of the roads I drive, is lost in the road noise.

The steering was also a bit different. That took a while to pin down. The toe angle on that wheel was knocked outward a bit. The net result is that the truck wanted to either, go to the right, or the left, but not exactly straight ahead without constant correction. It was by a small enough amount that, which way, left or right, was affected by both road and wind. Still it wasn't till the tires started showing abnormal wear that it was a slam dunk to have the service dept know there was a real problem.

Lastly the radio is being replaced because the autovol had failed. (which remindes me, I need to ask for my cd's back. I think from here on out, the only cd's I put in my changer will be duplicates.)

So all that means the repairs will take 2 full business days. And it will take a couple weeks to get a new rim unless I can pick up a second hand one somewhere.
