I know that the base MSRP on a truck was right around 42K back in the day,
But right now I'm wondering what was the sticker price for a truck with every option.

How high did the option prices go?
Did the prices change at all between
2003 and 2006?
If anyone was around looking at those numbers at the time, I'd appreciate if you could fill in some details. Thanks!

Most dealers were about $5000 over list and you had to get on a list. They only got one or two and some dealers wanted all they could get and others didn't want anything to do with them. Awhile back someone had a post asking most high priced and I believe it was from Canada and about $65,000. Maybe someone else will chime in here.

And what was the exchange rate at that time. You have to compare Apples to Apples or Oranges to Oranges, not Loonies to Washingtons or the other way around. The >:) is i the details, of course!

I stand corrected. I knew they were high but that is way high. No wonder I waited 10 years to get mine.

I hear ya!! That’s why I bought mine used in 2008 with 4000kms on it for roughly 35000, I traded my 03 Ram 1500 Reg cab and 18,000 for it.

In Dec of 2003 when I bought my 03 was a $1.34 to your $1.00 and my MSRP was the same as Rebel, I also had to pay taxes of 15% on the MSRP. It was more money then I paid for the house we live in. House is now worth 7 or 8 times what we pay for it, I'd be lucky to get a third of what I paid for the truck.

But our cars are always more, the exchange on the dollar is only part of it. I have a couple friends that went to the USA and bought new corvettes, even with the exchange on the dollar, they saved 10k, now was a few years ago, now the prices are a little closer. Still cheaper down south.
Our Jeep Cherokee here is 45,000 and 38,000 in the USA

The 2003 & 2004 & (2005) base MSRP price was a over $40K. However I believe it was in 2006 that GM decided to then lower the base price to 39K+ apparently with the intent to make the SSR sound a little bit more affordable. >:)

I got my build sheet here on the forum. Then went to www.windowsticker.com
Purchased the window sticker. Use it at car shows. Enjoy.
The link did not seem to work, are they still in business?
If not, does anyone know of another source that can do this?
I searched Google for it, evidently it's
https://www.window-sticker.com
They have SSR years 2004, 2005 and 2006.
I could not find 2003 SSR on their site.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm finding all of these answers informative and a bit surprising.
