Out Of State Transport

1335 Views 8 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  mikepowell
I have purchased my 2004 Slingshot from a dealer in Vermont, and have been waiting for the transport company to pull their head out and get the darn thing here to me in California, now another delay due to their trucks "mechanical problems". I had enough and switched companies. Not that I plan to switch again, but has anyone else had trouble with a transport company taking 1 month to get their car from an out of state dealer?

I am so frustrated, I just want to drive what I bought and am paying for!! :confused

Thanks for the tip!

Wally (and others) thanks for the tip, I actually have contacted the Fedex company, hopefully they will come through a lot quicker than the first company (who had delayed 3 weeks!!) and get my truck here! FYI - if anyone is contemplating transport of their car, I would stay away from these guys like the plague:
AAA Advantage Auto Transport / www.carmoves.com

They have delayed and delayed and delayed. They say "we are sorry" on the phone, but I really do not care - I paid and you made a promise to transport my truck, now live up to it!!
