Has anyone found a fix for the overheating problem in
traffic. It's in the 50's tonite and on my way home, my
thermostat crept creeping up to the 235 line and I actually
stopped to help another 04 SSR that had overheated
tonite - I know the problem is the $30 fan, but is there
anyway to more permanently fix this??? I love my SSR,
but hate this problem. It's already overheated once &
I don't want it to happen again.

The problem seems to boil (pun intended) down to this.....

The high speed on your fan is probably not functioning properly and you need to get that fixed. With the fan running properly you won't overheat and your temp should stay in the 210 range.

Good luck.

Get them to look at it again. I had the same problem and, after the fan was replaced, never been a problem again - and it's just a tad warmer here.
