Hey, I am the passenger of a new SSR. My husband has just got one and I am lucky enough to ride shotgun!!! Are there any other women out there stuck in the passenger seat that would like to talk? It's a cool car, but my husband is not allowed to drive it alone... too much of a chick magnet!!! Imagine if a women was driving, But I guess that will never happen here. I was lucky enough to get to drive it around our block two times !!! Yahoo!!!!
Any SSR chicks out there????

will not drive

I have had my SSR since 12/12/03 and I can't get my wife to drive it. I keep asking her if she wants to drive it, but she keeps saying, " No, if I do I'll probably ding it, so I'll just ride."

My SSR is registered to my company, so somehow it's actually my wife's daily driver. Show this to hubby. I get to drive the old dirty stuff, I don't think a ladder rack would enhance the appearance of an SSR. Well, I exaggerate, I have a 62 ChevyII, ok, that started out as her's also. I guess I'm nice to her.

I cannot get my wife to drive it. She drove the Vette everywhere but not the SSR. She is affraid of someone dinging it or bumping a curve...

I wonder if this is a result for me having extreme roadrage and that I wipe the SSR off constatly? I also say goodnight to her everynight. i also say goodnight to the wife also...

I am not a chick. But I can speak for my girlfriend. She does like for me to drive alone also. Not really for the chicks but because my lead foot gets even heaver when she is not in the car.

But she is wost than me when it come to driveing the SSR with out the other in the truck. She has two speeding tickets already.

Scott wants me to drive

My husband Scott wants me to use the SSR as much as I can.
Only thing is he would like it back home when he gets home from work.
Everywhere I go in this truck people stop and gawk.
I cannot imagine a finer grocery getter, lots of room lots of lookers.

I am a chick and the proud owner of a 2004 SSR Redline

I am a chick and a wife and the proud owner of a 2004 SSR Redline. I love driving my SSR. I get a lot of looks and beeps from guys. So I would definetly say that it's not just a chick magnet but a guy magnet too! I can't believe all the people who want to talk to me when I'm stopped and all the people I have meet since I have owned it. Looking forward to taking it to the Woodward Dream Curise this year in Detroit. Can't wait to get it out this spring. I miss not driving it! Stored for the winter!

Well, I'm a single guy, and the only "chick" that has ridden in mine is my oldest daughter, and she LOVES it! She wants to drive it, but no, no, not the way she drives! She does too much sight seeing when she drives! Still looking for a chick, so to all you wives out there, it must not be just the SSR they look at!

Hi! I am cruzned's wife. I do love driving the SSR when I am by myself. He trusts me. :reddevil Oh, you know...just up to the grocery store and back...in 10 minutes or less! It is a fast ride. But I also drove it to work. Really surprised my coworkers. Took a few for a top down ride around the block. Everyone had a smile on their faces and wind through their hair. Lots of fun for all.

But like Ed says, I love when he drives and I ride along with the wind in my hair, leather jacket to keep me warm..just as long as we are together. We have fun in our SSR and that is what it is all about. :party

I second that!!

I love to drive my wife's SSR. I love to drive my GTO and our Harley. Hell, I even like driving my old truck (The Beast) as long as my sweetie is with me.

Remember, it's not the destination that's important, it's the journey.

Same goes in our family! We don't have a Vette but the rest is true. Just ask my wife! Scott 0168
