Just received this notification from the Peach City Beach Cruise Organizers. Bad news! The 2020 PCBC has been cancelled due to COVID-19 and its trickle down effects.

We hope you are all staying safe during these uncertain times. We regret that, due to the Covid-19 crisis, we must cancel the 2020 show.
If you made hotel/motel reservations you will need to adjust these as needed.
Options for those who registered are:
Leave your registration as is. We will transfer it over to the 2021 show (June 25, 26, 27). Send us a note saying you would like a refund. Email:

Reasons for cancelling the 2020 show include:
We need to commit to major expenses during the month of April. There is a real, but unpredictable, possibility of a local, provincial or national government making a decision forcing us to cancel because of the size of the event. This would result in a financial disaster for the organization leading to probable dissolution. Reluctance to approach our 50+ sponsors for support when they are having to reduce or temporarily close their businesses. Expected difficulty finding the 300+ volunteers it takes to put the show on. Without them the show would become a disorganized shamble. A large number of registrants cancelling for reasons including: They cannot cross the border. They have been out of work and it is no longer affordable for them to travel to Penticton. They will not risk their health. Restaurants in take out mode only. Directors want to be sure the show is the best it can be and would prefer to have a great show in 2021 rather than risk it all in 2020.

My heart goes out to Ray Lamothe
@Flassh who works so hard as a Director for the Peach City Beach Cruise, but also pulls together social events for all SSR attendees.
See you all in 2021 in Penticton B.C. Stay safe and healthy!
