How many of you all could make a So Cal SSR/Hot Rod meet? A Sat or Sun........
Please chime in, we have plenty of Rodder meets locally and lots of great places to plan them - would love to add some SSR Style to the gatherings!!

FYI: An uncropped 5.0 mega pix image will enlarge to 20 x 30 clearly - still has real sharp details! I go thru SBC Yahoo photos - very quick online photos - mailed to you... At .19 each - Ive had every photo taken printed - and several enlargements made - the 20 x 30 posters are impressive......

The photo posted in this thread isn't real sharp - that what I get for driving and holding the camera out the TOP!!!!

Dec. 4th

Which one is the DEC 4, and where?

We are attempting to plan a So Cal meet sometime in November,(after the next Good Guys Show) but would also love to add Dec 4 to our calendar!

We are planning an SSR run on Sat. Dec. 4th. from L.A. to Palm Springs. It was originally posted by Saharajohn. There is a car show in Palm Springs at the Spa Casino and we are going to meet for lunch somewhere in Pomona or Ontario and then cruise out to Palm Springs. Final details not set yet. We would like to get all the SSR's we can for this. We already have about 6 or 7 that are pretty sure they'll make it.

Great to have you! Your in the right place......this is a great site. Love the color you have!!! Where in SoCal? Which dealer did you get yours? I saw a one like yours about 3 weeks ago, wondering if it was you!

There is a lot of owners in Orange County, but I don't see them on this site. I Keep wanting to chase them down and tell them about it.

Last April, I was looking online for dealers in the area that had the Ultra Violet '04 SSRs, mainly because I was curious to see what the color actually looked like on the vehicle; the Chevy website's image made it look more blue-ish than purple.

There was one listed at Mossy Chevy in Encinitas(North San Diego Co.), just down the road fom me, so the wife and I hit the road to check it out.
The metallic paint and the changes in color in certain light made it most appealing.
I bought it that day.
I got no grief from the wife, purple is her favorite color.

Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment on the weekend of Dec 4, or I'd be on that trip with the rest of you. It sounds like it would be a blast.

Hopefully you can bring your ride to the meet we're trying to nail for late November? Will your flames be done by then?

Ours was full Red, now its 2 tone Duntov style. Blue and White.
