Powerdyne Automotive Products offers a supercharger kit for the 5.3 and 6.0 Full size trucks (part# K10522-101) that includes Fuel Injectors, Replacement high flow air filter, Micro Tuner, and Bypass Valve Assembly. Jegs sells the kit for $3199, but Powerdyne has no research to tell me if it will fit the :ssr .

It seems like a really nice setup. I like the fact that it uses a belt drive, and requires no oil to lubricate the moving parts. They say it will add 40 to 50% more horsepower.

Has anyone had any experience with this setup? It seems like an ideal add-on for my 04, but I would hate to buy it and find out it won't fit. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Rathereatworms: I have no idea if you are perhaps mechanically skilled and equipped for automtoive work, but if not, you should know that the $3200 kits need about $3000 to $4000 worth of shop labor and tuning to make usable.

The least expensive "turnkey" supercharger deals I have seen are $6200, and often more.

The superchargers for the trucks will NOT fit the SSR's. The :ssr Superchargers are the same design as the Corvette due to the location of the air cleaner.

Just recieved my latest Stylin Concepts catalog. They have finally included a Magnuson Supercahrger for the SSR. Pricing is between 5995.00 and 6995.00
Check them out on line at www.stylinconcepts.com

I've been waitng for them to come out with something for the SSR, since this is where I get all my aftermarket equipment for my full size trucks.

Keep shopping, you'll find what you want sooner or later.
