This is sweet!! My "05 came off the truck yesterday!! So much for arrival on the 18th!! Boards are on and gauges installed. I will take delivery on the 18th. It is raining today and tomorrow with clearing on Thursday. I will not bring home a new vehicle in a rainstorm!! What is a few days after waiting four months? Cleavermodels

Now you know that it just isn't possible to let it get dirty as soon as you get it you want to drive it and hug it and run your hands over all its curves. Thats exactly what I did when I first got married too. LOL I'm not sure but I thinks it's LOVE :)

Premature delivery

I did go by the dealer this afternoon to look at it in the prep bay! I pondered the moment...something about bad luck for the groom to see the bride on the day of the wedding before the ceremony... then I thought that consumation day isn't until Thursday so it is cool to peak! She's beautiful!!! Even without the tire shine yet! Thanks folks for the cheers! Cleavermodels

Tire Shine?

Leave the tire shine off. It's a truck and you're a man! ;)

I remember when I picked up my #369 red '03, I wouldn't drive it even when the smog was bad (which was often in So Cal). I will have had it one year as of the day before Thanksgiving, and to this day I've never driven in the rain, or even taken a hose to it to wash it. (I have no idea if the bed leaks.) I know thats silly, but I just drive my Toyota Tacoma when I know the weather's going to be bad. I just don't have time to wash cars. (I haven't even had it back to a dealer yet. I hear too many horror stories from the rest of you about the sorry, clueless dealer service departments.)

Do I need to bite the bullet and take it back to a dealer with a list of all the things I've learned on this forum that will need repairing soon? I'm afraid that if I wait, it will be out of warranty (i.e., drive shaft, scratched windows, tonneau hinges, etc.). What do you all think? :confused
