That's right BSTPAPA, don't blame it on the Post Office Dick. You know darn well your favorite liquor store upped the price of your Captain Morgan, Right? You need to switch to Short Mountain Moonshine which is "only" 40 bucks a bottle and made just 30 miles east of the house. They moved their "still" out of the "holler" and closer to the road so it's easier to get to. Went by it the other day ridin' in the R, but didn't see any activity. tennesseecozydog :ssr

The other option if they don't want to spend the extra money, is they can get in the car and drive to the hardware store and spend a half hour figuring out what they need. Then go home and put it together them selves. But keep in mind the chances of not getting all the right parts are high, so another trip back to the store to get more parts, then back home and with gas at $4 a gallon or more you could save maybe 11 cents doing it your self. So order one and be done in a half hour. Do it your self and spend $19.89 and take 2 hours to do it your self.

I feel the need to share my recent story.
SSR is garage queen and took it out recently to have inspection performed. driving back to garage I heard a rattle and thought it was just mudflap...will check on it later.
Later that evening I start her up to move her so I can get a good look and shifter just moves but not into gear...AH! it ain't the mudflap.

So before dicktator had come up with his kit I had purchased a few of the grommets for the rod and just replaced them as needed...probably did that twice. So was in a bit of a rush for an appointment so was just going to do the same since I had plenty of stock EXCEPT I could not find them (I have since located them), but I did have dicktators repair kit so next day I installed it and will probably sell or donate grommets to those in need.

BUT I recommend just installing the kit so you do not have to worry about it, I got lucky and the failure happened at home but very easily could have happened while travelling like it has to so many others.
