Options:

CTD - Cargo net package
ERK - Cargo Compartment Trim w/wood and custom carpet mat
LM4 Vortec 5300 V-8
M30 4 speed automatic O/D
1SB - preferred equipment group, blah, blah, blah
s5406 VIN

no chrome wheels :mad
no running boards :mad

Well I offered $33000.00 $12095.00 of sticker
Plus I ask for running boards $899.00 option

You know the sales man is playing games now so I'm asking advice. Do I stand my ground or am I asking for to much ?

Stand Your Ground

Stand where you're at on the price. There have been quite a few 04's for around the same number.
Check with them often to see if they will give in. Sometimes when you keep bugging them, they give in just to sell it and get you to actually purchase instead of bother them whith out a sale.
Be persistant you'll get what you want.

I agree with fuzzy. An '04 for $10,000-$12,000 off sticker price is certainly possable right now, at least in our area of CA.. We did that just a week ago today.

They still have a purple 2004 in stock and they were advertising $14k off sticker before the March Madness sale of $1000 extra off! It has every option on it including chrome wheels and I believe the gauges.

I just saw it this morning. They also have a black, silver, and a red 2004 left.

You should be able to buy that truck in your area for $31k. I just bought my fully loaded yellow for $30,450 with a list of just under $47k with 7 miles on it!

Sounds like you got $16,500 off the sticker price.
That's hard to believe unless you're you failed to mention a GM Card rebate.
What's the breakdown on that kind of a discount?
Some people may not have $3,000 saved up on their GM Card.

I called about that purple one today too and no one has contacted me back, must be a busy day in sales land.. haha.. anyways do you know anyone at this dealership? im in Dallas, so this would be closer to me. would like a Red one first but who knows if i see this color in person.

I looked at the truck and it is very nice, but I just opted for slingshot yellow instead. I also know where a red one is for about the same discount. I know Nate is the GM there and is always available to help out.

No I did not have a gm card discount. I just am one heck of a nego and told them they needed to get rid of all 2004 vehicles on their lot.

We own a beautiful graple SSR.

The dealership manager and I sat down and come to my terms and I think the check in front of him helped make the statement now or never.
