There are 32 SSR's for sale on Autotrader for under $17K. They are still being treated as any other used car by many dealers. Others see there uniqueness and value and ask over book value or inflated prices, way over in some cases. Many are willing to pay over current value for "the right one", other are not. It's simple supply and demand. Which would you do, pay $25K for a loaded 05 with 30,000 miles, or a low optioned 04 with 60,000 miles for $16K. I think the answer is it depends on a lot of things. How much can you spend, what options does it have, color, etc. That's why the prices are all over the place. People have said this before, an SSR is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. It could be $16K or $50K. JMHO
When this came up for sale in August it had some really nice custom wheels on it - the 73P Sterling have been put back on it.
This may or may not make a difference to some but it is a 1SA build which, IMO diminishes the value
- no heated seats, no Homelink DIC, 1 CD MP3 player (can't tell for sure but it looks like this may have been upgraded to the Bose 6 CD)
