I have a few questions that we need answered in regard to the badges. The poll above will be for the bent or unbent badges so I know what to do with the first order of 50 badges. The badges are 1/4" thick so they will be bent in a press before being polished and shipped for engraving.

1) What font and locations does everyone want the engraving?

2) What font is the SS on the badge already in?

3) How many want flat badges?

4) How many want the badges bent to the contour of the waterfall area?

1 & 2) I like the font that is already being used for the badges. I am refering to the ones I have seen on this forum. I would like to see, at the very least, the Vin #, and I would love it to be in my name ie; Michael A Fox

3 or 4) Its got to be bent for the waterfall. I would like two (2) bent ones.

I kind of like something like this

but would want the name in the same font as the year, build date, and vin#

:agree Just as above.

StrokerMcGurk.

ps: Mine was built on 12/05/05. Paid for, but yet to be delivered. Aparently GM can't find it. Anyone seen a Pacific Blue 6-sp that apperars to be lost?
This is REALLY annoying! :banghead

Hey StrokerMcGurk,
I think I found your new SSR, paint is a bit faded, GM forgot the roof, and I needed the doors for another project..........with some BLUE Coral wax I'm sure it would look like what you ordered.........someday:glol

if they don't find it your welcome to hop in this roadster and I'll pull you around...

anyways, hope things go better and you'll soon be cruisn' the highways!

Serial number and born on date for me.

I know who I am and I can tell it's yellow.

Year (2003 ,2004, 2005, 2006)
Serial Number
Manufacture date or born on date

I would suggest adding the year of the vehicle since they all do kinda look alike. In addition the model year 2006 is like not the same year as born date in all but the last few.
I would opt "not" to have an owners name on the badge, because ownership may change over time but the badge would and should stay on the SSR.

Since I'm not good or can't yet copy files to messages....
-I would suggest the year of the SSR be placed under the large SS

-Manufacture date / born date be placed above the R
(Maybe these two items could be reversed???? Have to see the layout?)

-The VIN # centered across the bottom of the badge.

Just my thoughts...maybe a layout by Marc NY on this suggestion would help.

If we get a good layout without the owner name option,,, count me in.
