Well, the Bowtie doesn't seem added on to me.
They look like they were molded into the cap when made.

What i have for sale in this listing is a set of domed Bowties for the center cap on the wheels . They come in all the colors of the SSR's and almost any color you could want. The cost for a set of (4) mailed to you in the US is $20.95. I will sent out of the US but there will be a shipping charge. THESE BOWTIES WILL NOT WORK ON CHROME CENTER CAPS THAT ALREADY HAVE A GOLD BOWTIE ON THEM.

In case you aren't aware. Yes the Bowtie is/was made on the cap. What the speculation is about, is the color. That possibly a Gold sticker overlay was put on it. There are both flat and Domed / puffy stickers available in different colors, including Gold. There are a large number of members putting the stickers on their caps.

This is not a Sticker.
It's hard plastic with a nice glow.
I've had the Caps with the Stickers.
That's why I said that I had never seen Caps like these.
I think that I may have purchased these before QWKSSR began making his fine products.

Expanding the picture and looking closely at the gold it looks like a poor paint job (splotchy) and from all informatioon I have been able to find the satin caps were not ever produced with gold Bow Ties. I would say they are doctored and you should advertise them with that warning.

I'm in the process of refinishing a set of caps. Stock Satin, with bad clearcoat that I need to Paint to match the powdercoat on the wheels. The Bowties are stamped/diecut aluminum that are painted satin and afixed to the raised/sculpted Bowtie section of the caps at the factory after the plastic caps are painted. My question is this... The bowties that you make... Are they an overlay that I would apply to the factory aluminum diecut bowties? Or are they a complete replacement for the factory aluminum bowties?

Why put yourself through this? You say they're real? They're authentic. They're original then by God they are. You don't have to prove it to anybody except yourself. Just my 0.02 cents

With so many "Almost New" and "Almost OEM" and "Almost Original" SCAMMERS out there . . . we are all a little suspicious and very reluctant to believe most of what we read and hear nowadays.

Bottom Line . . . We have all HEARD IT BEFORE !
