Finally got them done. smooth and slick, no rubber pads, no ugly seam! Well at least two pictures are turned correct. Never know how they will be turned.

I agree like some have said very nice and very pretty. There is a place in town here that does Linex for bed liners but recently they claim they can match your paint color in the Linex material, I have seen some of the pickups they have done on the rocker panels and lower part of the truck and it looks and matches awesome. It is the rubber coating like a bed liner but almost impossible to tell unless the light hits it just right. They claim it is very durable. Might try that if I ever do mine over. Like the stock for right now.

Yes, it took some time, but sanding the seam away really helps smooth things out. We did put extra clear on them. With my brackets cut, they are lowered and tucked in 2 inches. Don't hardly noticed them much. d

I have started on painting 2 sets. Both silver boards and they are just silver under the rubber. On the last set I pulled the rubber off of and about 1/3 of the paint peeled off with the two sided tape. I got about half of it sanded and put them up. Maybe a winter project to finish them.
