Has anyone removed their door panels yet? Anything to know before undressing the doors? Looking to put Dynamat in the doors with other speakers, it increases door mass and keeps out road noise. Thanks for the info, someone had mentioned to be very careful, just want to know why.

Door alignment

Mechanics at my dealer had a learning curve to put them back together. Window alignment while it's opened up changes when you put the panel back on. Maybe that's what they're talking about.

Someone on this link listed step by step how to remove the door panels and how to avoid breaking the delicate plastic pieces that hold several parts together but I will be darned if I can find it. I do know there is a post on their site that details every step of the way to remove them.

The thread over there that had a step by step for removing the door panels is not available to normal registered members. Check this thread over at tintdude.com. It had all the specifics but now says

Oh well, when I get my CD I'll be in the doors so I'll take some pictures.
