A 2005 Redline F125 one owner from Charlie Travells collection with 48 miles was hi Bid to $37,000 and sister truck blue 2005 F126 with 76 miles sold for $48,400. the high point R at the sale. Even more than 2004 W247 Redline with 14 miles on it $39,600 including 10% for Dana and Frank. A bit of a dissappointment was the 2005 W208 Calloway Slingshot 6 sped with 4,500 miles only pulling $31,900 again with 10% in. Early number might have hurt. Another slingshot 2004 got pulled?? Last time Cash linked photos to the listings for us without that kind of talent.
These are separate from the truck Snomuncher commented on. Anyways, some pleasant surprises.:wink2:

Link to the post Corvettetom refers to:

http://www.ssrfanatic.com/forum/4036442-post7.html

It appears to me the high point sale was #2, Sale Price $59400 - 2005 Slingshot 6sp with 3850 - seems someone really wanted the 6sp

Unfortunately, Mecum does not list VINs at all
With Barrett Jackson I can go back to their archives and find the VINs.

Trying to get attendees to record the last 5 has always been an issue.

Some pretty respectful prices! Of course the Pac Blue brought the highest price!

Those numbers refer to the date and lot number.

Wednesday lot 247, Friday lots 125 and 126.

That way, you can find any of the results easily by searching for the specific number.

SSRs at Mecum Indy 2018

The 2005 red and 2005 blur were consigned by the same person. He lifted the reserve on the blur at $41K before it hammered sold on the block for $44K. The red was bid to $37K as a no sale on the block. His reserve on that one was $47.5K. Of the two, the blur was in better condition. Go figure...

The yellow (non-Callaway) six speed had been for sale privately for about six months prior to this auction for $38K with no takers, so the consignor reaped a big payday on this one, even after deducting his consignment fee and seller premium.

No Pacific Blues in 04 & 05 "Sarge" :frown2: :frown2: :frown2:
I guess I read that post a little bit too fast! I only zoomed in on the "blue" and just overlooked the 05' portion of the statement! I guess they must have meant a Blur!

I better pay a little bit more attention to detail! :wink2:

Except the Pacific Blue was a 2005 Aqua Blur
Good try though!
Absolutely no surprise that the best looking , fastest color would bring the most money! >:) By the way , I have a 2005 Aqua Blur that I might sell for that price -- with no buyers premium ! DEAL OF THE DAY , ACT FAST! :wink2: :blur:

It's a shame all the auction action kept you from finding a cover(bra) so you can actually drive your truck.

Possible cover on the way Hu Haw

Well Bruce, John Scrapa Jr reached out to me when I decided to post instead of periodically checking from time to time and he has one that I'm on. I did this during a commercial when some Mustangs were going thru. Seriously, now I'll be able to get on it going at regular highway speeds instead of all the side and service roads in the 58. Rarely watch the auctions live instead just set the PVR and fast forward thru the nonsense/commercials or log on to the results when there done unless of course I attend in person.0:):smile2:

Ahh, my mistake, I thought you needed a bra for your SSR. I can see why you'd want to keep the Corvette away from the nasties out there.
My buddy had a girl in the next lane kick up part of an exhaust system taking out his grille and radiator. He called AAA to haul it to the dealer so they loaded this 84 inch high van on the rollback (4 ft?) but the dealer had an underpass to the service area. $2000 for the front end and $15000 for the roof. :mad2:
