Running Boards Rubber - Never mind, found answer

I am trying to find out how the rubber is mounted on the running boards. Is it glued on or what? I've looked and cannot tell. Don't want to ruin it if I can help it.

From reading this thread, I take it that they are glued in some fashion. Now to figure out how to get them apart.

The rubber is stuck down with a double sided sticky tape.

That's probably the same tape

as that used to fasten the passenger cup-holder to the console. Mine got knocked off and there was the tape! :cuss

took mine off for painting

use a heat gun then pull :flag

The pass. cup holder (on the side of the center console) is normally held on with with a slip joint. Not double sided tape. If your's came off, and it was taped in place, it was previously broken off.

They are easy to break off if they are installed and the seat is adjusted forward too far.
